Hearing Evaluations

Hearing tested in a sound treated booth that is measured to be within specifications so that your test will not be hampered by outside noises. We will evaluate your hearing status with calibrated pure tones and speech signals. We will perform both air and bone conduction tests.  We consult you regarding your hearing loss and hearing aids that may be deemed necessary.

Hearing Aid Evaluations

We review with you the function of the hearing instruments and then determine if you  are able to hear as well as would be expected. A verification of the hearing aids is performed either by further testing or by discussion with you regarding your feelings and realistic expectations.

30 Day Trial

This is the usual and customary way of trying amplification without the threat of having to purchase immediately.  During your trial you will wear the instrument that you would purchase. You will return to the office for follow-up for counseling regarding the fit and the sound of the instrument; also for more instruction. . At the end of the trial it is decided if the instruments are providing sufficient benefit for your communication needs

Repairs

We repair almost all makes of hearing aids.  We either send them to the factory for repair or we might be able to do a minor repair at the office.  We fix a lot of instruments.  If  the aid is sent in for factory repair , a one year repair warranty is usually provided.
